President Bush's critics could not have done better than Bush did himself by raising the security alert level to orange just as he was telling us of his plan to attack Iraq to make us safe.
Bush's maverick foreign policy is making enemies around the world and giving them license for preemptive action against us and our dwindling allies. This will make the world a much more dangerous place than Saddam ever could.
